Cooler Weather in Place for the Next Week

After recording the warmest March ever on record, April has begun on the cool side in the city and the cooler temperatures will continue into next week. With the exception of Easter on Sunday, the rest of this week will see temperatures in the low to mid 50s.  Today's highs are right at the normal of 54 for the year and will be much the same for the Cubs Opening Day, although it will be cooler by the lake, with temperatures only in the 40s.  However, an abundance of sunshine over the next week will help make temperatures feel on the warmer side, but strong winds will also conunter the sun, bringing a chilly wind to the area.  More details on the cooler weather pattern in place in the coming days!
