Good evening.  The cold weather pattern continued today will remain in tact for a while.  While early forecasts indicate a warmer weekend, overall the next two weeks will remain cooler than normal, but hopefully we have seen the last of the 30s.  Today's high topped out at 40 degrees and we had mostly cloudy skies. Tomorrow will be slightly warmer with temperatures rising up to 43 degrees, under mostly sunny skies once again.  Northeast winds will be at 8-15mph.

The Cubs home opener will see temperatures in the upper 40s with a chance of a shower midday, before a weekend warm up into the 50s before temps go back into the 40s at the start of next week.  Hang it there! There weather will eventually arrive!!! It's only a matter of time!
