Good afternoon!

Sorry for the lack of updates from my weather blog recently. I am going to start updating it on a more frequent basis.

For today, we will see temperatures top out at about 45 degrees! Temperatures are currently at about 43 degrees with wind advisories remaining in effect. Wind gust have top 50mph O'Hare and  even 60mph in some places.  Rain will be moving into the area later in the day. As temperatures continue to fall throughout the evening, the rain is expected to mix with/or change over to wet snow, however, no accumulation is expected due to the warm Lake Michigan waters.  Areas away from the lake could see minor accumulations on grassy surfaces or cars.  It will rather slippery/hazardous during rush hour so be careful. More updates will be coming later on today!

Good morning everyone!! Christmas is in the air, as 93.9 has officially flipped to the Holiday Lite last night at 5pm!!  It sure is going to feel cold out as today's highs WILL NOT reach 40 degrees. Highs should top out at 38 degrees, with the prospects of a few SNOW showers or flurries possible as the day progress. Yesterday, O'Hare officially recorded it FIRST snowflakes of the season at 1:50pm. Lows tonight should drop BELOW freezing tonight! I will have a lot more on the weather coming up a little later, so stay tuned for updates!!!
